Ménage À Trois is a bastard child of 70’s groove rock and Middle Eastern amiga soundtracks…

Menáge À Trois begins in 2005 in a rented wood cabin on a small Danish island. The band has three seats two different gears and one tape recorder. During the course of one week they pack about ten cassette tapes full of songs, soundscapes and otherwordly keyboard sounds. However, due to the three memebers’ engagements into other projects the casettes remain untouched until recently.
In late 2009 the three members meet again and listen to the now 4 year old tapes. Few days pass by before the structuring, arranging and composing of additional material begins. The setup now consists of drums, solina-organ and fretless bass, occasionally joined by voice and guitar. During the next four months the band records 12 new songs, two of which was released on vinyl and as a digital download on the 12th of August 2010.

On the 27th of May 2010 Ménage À Trois had their official live-debut, supporting the Italian jazz/hardcore/avantgarde
band ZU. The band hope to do many more of this kind of gigs, and are right now a frequent live-act on the
Copenhagen underground live-scene. The unique setup of fretless bass and solina organ makes it very special
to experience live.
